Grand Isle Migratory Bird Celebration Schedule of Events

*Registration for tours will be available online and during the festival at the Grand Isle School, 149 Ludwig Ln, Grand Isle, LA 70358. Registration tables will be open Friday, April 17 from 3:30 – 4:00 pm and Saturday, April 18 from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Sunday, April 19, 7:00 – 10:30 am. – Because of School Release…Please do not arrive on Friday afternoon before 3:30 p.m.

Friday April 17, 2020

  • 6:00 a.m.–8:30 a.m. | Photography with George Ritchie – Grand Isle West End State Park (Meet at Bridge Side Marina)  Limited to 8 birders – $25.00
  • 2:00–4:00 p.m. | Kayaking TourKayaking Tour (Meet Guide Tracie Bourgeois at 1:45 PM on Ludwig Lane at launch site at 1:45 pm.)  Limit of 10 kayaks whether single or double – $25.00
