Blessing of the Fleet

At the Tarpon Rodeo Pavilion April 13-15

Activities include: blessing of the fleet, rides, food and drink booths, music and carnival games

Schedule of Events:

Friday, April 13

5 p.m.- Opening ceremonies under the Pavilion and fair opens with DJ Capt. P playing until the band starts. Introduction of Admiral and Queen and all pageant winners.
6 p.m. – 10 p.m. – Music by the Gordon Bradberry Band with Auction items on break
10 p.m. – 12 a.m. – Music by shorts in December

Saturday, April 14

11 a.m. – Fair opens with DJ Capt. P Playing until Band starts
1 p.m. – 3 p.m. – Boat Blessing located a A port dock and rope throwing contest under pavilion
3 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Rope throwing contest, auction of pageant crowns, boat plaques given out and auction items
5 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Judging of shrimp boat decorating contest
6 p.m. – 10 p.m. – Music by Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition, auction items during breaks
10 p.m. – 2 a.m. – Music by Junior and Sumtin’ Sneaky, auction items during breaks

Sunday, April 15

11 a.m. – Fair opens with DJ Capt. P
1 p.m. – 2 p.m. – Kids crab races, bring your own crabs
2 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Music by Waylon Thibodaux

Blessing of the Fleet information- All boats are welcome to attend (Shrimp boats, fishing boats, pontoon boats, yachts, houseboats etc.) but we ask that you register beforehand to get a blessed plaque so that you can participate.
