Please slow down for our Entergy workers so they can do their job and get our electricity up and running. They come from other states and leave their families and want to be able to go home to their families. We received a call from their supervisor and he stated that people are driving too fast and are putting them in danger. So please slow down and enjoy the view from your vehicle and stay off the road if you do not need to be on the road. The faster they can do their job safely the sooner we will get our lights back on. We appreciate them coming to help us. Slow down.
If you can not respect the linemen, police officers and flag man and slow down, we will have no choice but to close Louisiana highway 1 from Fourchon to Grand Isle We are trying to get the power up as soon as possible.
